Came in for a family lunch, and really enjoyed the entire experience.

We made a reservation, and asked to sit at one table (11 people plus a baby), and they were able to accomodate, and place us all together.

We arrived, and were seated, and greeted by a super friendly waitress (didn't catch her name), and she took our drink orders. We then ordered our food, and wanted to highlight two things we ordered:

    1) The Tuna Melt: This came out and was a "closed" sandwich (different than the expected open-face I'm used to), and when I bit into it, I was in heaven. It was really yummy, just the right amount of creamy and heartly.

    2) The Thanksgiving Panini: My wife got her panini with a side of sweet potato fries (side note: AMAZING!), and it looked great. Nice grill marks on the bread, and the right temperature. The bread was cranberry walnut bread, with fresh-roasted turkey (no lunch meat here), apples, walnuts and swiss cheese inside. It was moist and delicious.

And then, dessert. This is always the highlight at Country Table. They have one of the best bakeries in the area (I had my wedding cake made here!). I am generally not a fan of cake, but Country Table's is super moist, flavorful, and delicious. The things they do with icing is also amazing. I ordered one of my favorites: chocolate cake, with peanut butter frosting.

On the way out, we got home made whoopie pies to go!

Overall -- a great experience, great food, great service! Go here!!

Diner food. Decent amount of selections. Price was average. Everything average so they get a average rating. Small glasses but they will refill no charge of you flag them down.

Ate here 20 years ago when someone gave us a gift card. I remember three things: it was crowded, overly decorated in oak, and packed with a geriatric crowd. Fast forward 20 years the oak is gone but the food is the same; un-memberable.

The restaurant appeared to be freshly remodeled and it was clean. There were elements of the decor I liked but overall it felt cold and sterile. The lighting cast a blueish glow which made the mood gloomy and the food appear grayish.

I really thought this time would be different, as we are well into middle age ourselves. Or that over time they would have moderized their menu and cooking style. Sadly they hadn't.  It's like eating a restricted salt and flavorless meal in a nursing home. Even our burgers were bland.

Speaking of our burgers......we both ordered their "signature" black angus burger- hubby's well done and mine med rare. However they were cooked exactly the same so why even ask?!? Black angus my a$$! Those burgers were no better than the frozen generic variety from the grocery store! Given they pride themselves on cooking from scratch they can't even manage to make a real burger?!?  One bite in and it was like eating cardboard. We both wished we would've gone  to Wendy's.  Fries and onion rings were frozen too. My pickle had such a strong flavor it nearly took my breath away with one bite like it was old and marinating for decades.

Service was unremarkable as well. If you come in from the bakery as we did you have to walk across the dining room to reach the hostess station. A group of people were standing around putting their coats on or paying their bill. There wasn't a real "line". So I was a little annoyed when the hostess went to seat us that an elderly couple snickered to our face. Not only do they need a hostess station at each entrance but some direction or greeting would have been nice so we would have known who was waiting.

Upon paying our bill the hostess' asked the customary how is everything. We proceeded  to tell them how unhappy we were. The response " did you tell your server?" Never had a chance as she never came back. Needed napkins and a refill but she didn't even come over to our vicinity.

The saving grace to this review is their attached bakery which smelled heavenly. They had a nice assortment of pies, cakes, cookies, and bread + a half off table of sticky buns. Some of the cakes were beautifully decorated and very unique such as the unicorn cake. Area was super clean too.  However the employee wasn't the brightest..... We overheard her tell a customer she needed a calculator to figure 50% off $5.99.....

If I ever return (big if) it would be to try the bakery otherwise I'd rather eat a paper bag than dine here again.

I could give the food I tried a 4 to 5 star review.  The service brought it back to an average rating and I'll tell you why.  First, let's start with the great! I ordered the turkey platter with mashed potatoes, stuffing and homemade Mac n cheese.  This was borderline Thanksgiving at grandmas for me. Most diners serve a turkey platter with a sliced slab of turkey.  This place gives you pulled turkey just like at Thanksgiving.  Everything tasted great.  I'll be back to try more foods off the menu.  If I have a pet peeve it would have to be not getting offered a refill on my drink for the entire sitting.  I decided to take the rest of my dinner with because by the time I was offered my food was cold.  Could be an isolated occurrence but that was my experience.  Would I recommend? Heck yea!

Pig stomach was the special the night I was there btw

I recently  visited  the country  table  restaurant, the food use to be pretty good.I ordered a tuna salad. It wasn't  good, and the dressing looked like it was watered down. The soda was a  juice size cup, they charge $2.65!,Very disappointed  experience! Where can you go for good food , and is consistent each time you visit?
